#1 Please introduce yourself!
My name is Arthur Enrici. I'm 18 years old and I'm Brazilian. I am currently studying Biochemistry at the Federal University of Viçosa. I love playing instruments and listening to music. Without music, my days are not productive and nothing seems to go right. I have many other passions, such as: reading books, learning new things, playing video games with my friends and meeting people and places. I'm fanatical about traveling around the world.
#2 What is your favorite thing about your country/city? Why?
It's very difficult to choose a favorite thing in my country. Although we are going through great difficulties, I love the food, people and biodiversity of Brazil. The food is fantastic because our homeland was formed by different peoples with different nationalities, which gave us an extremely diverse culture. We use spices and foods from around the world to make our dishes. The end result is always very tasty. I love Brazilians because, although we have to fight and make an effort, we never give up in pursuit of our dreams. Also, most people are very receptive and warm. Therefore, we are one of the great tourist spots in the world. Finally, without a doubt, one of my greatest prides in this country is the biodiversity of the fauna and flora that we have. The amount of plant and animal species that Brazil has is impressive. There are several breathtaking landscapes for their natural beauty. As one of the most famous Brazilian songs says, Brazil is "blessed by God and beautiful by nature".
#3 What made you want to join ISC67 and your table? What would you like to achieve through the conference?
I had several reasons why I joined the ISC67 family. I wanted to develop my English, meet people from different countries, talk and debate about important issues for humanity and, above all, make friends. I chose table 3 because I realized that the subject of food safety was directly linked to my life here in Brazil. Unfortunately, this is a problem we are trying to address here. My goals for the end of this conference are already being achieved. I realized that my English has improved a lot and I have already made great friends. However, in the end, I would like to do my part to help the world in some way. We are working on this at table 3.
